47 More Chinese Apps Banned
The central government has banned 47 more Chinese apps amidst ongoing tension between India and China. The central government has already banned 59 Chinese apps. According to media reports, all these 47 apps are clones of 59 previously banned apps, although the names of these 47 banned apps have not been revealed yet.
In this way, a total of 106 apps have been banned in India by the Indian government. At the same time, it is also reported that the Central Government has prepared a list of 275 Chinese mobile apps, which can be banned in the coming time. In addition, many Chinese Internet companies can also be banned.
According to media reports, it is being told that these 47 apps were also violating the data protocol of the country and they are also accused of stealing data. These apps were using the private and confidential information of the users and they have also violated the privacy law, due to which the central government has banned them.
The Indian government had earlier banned 59 Chinese apps on 29 June. Among the apps that have been banned are TicketLock, UC Browser, Share It, etc. In addition to this, Hello, Like, Cam Scanner, Sheen Kwai have also been banned. Baidu Map, KY, DU Battery Scanner has also been banned. The central government had banned these Chinese apps under the IT Act 2000.
The central government has now made a list of 275 such apps, which are accused of breach of privacy. At the same time, they have also been described as a threat to national security. Gaming Chinese apps are included in this list. PubG is also included in this list, which is part of China’s largest Internet company Tencent.

Since then, there was anger among the people of India about all the apps including China and its products, after which the government banned 59 Chinese apps on 29 June 2020.
